Alliteration

The repetition of beginning consonant sound is known as Alliteration. Now look at some examples:

"She sells seashells by the seashore," (Chevalier's novel: Remarkable Creatures)

Here "s" has been repeated.

"Birds of the same feather flock together" (William Turner's satire: The Rescuing of Romish Fox)

 Here "f" has been repeated.
